Week of 1/29 - 2/2

We will complete the Aztec DBQ and continue working on Latin American brochures this week. We will also have our first geography quiz which will cover Central and South America. On Wednesday, we will have a Socratic Seminar to discuss how to read historical documents. The focus of the discussion will be around the remarkable achievements of the Maya.  

We will have our first full LTP workday on Thursday, so come prepared to gather information by researching your conquistador.

Friday is our first ADI! The Museo de las Americas will be coming to school to do programs as the museum is currently undergoing renovations.  We will also have a Mesoamerican Ball Game Tournament against Mr. Feiger's social studies class! Dress warm!
