Language Arts
Week of 2/26 - 3/2
We will begin looking at some poetic device such as figurative language and mood to explore the elements you will use to find a theme for a poem. We will also practice annotating a poem, which will be a required step in the poetry analysis essay.
Be sure to bring the 1st book for your author study to class on Thursday for a D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) day. Enjoy your ADIs on Friday!
