Social Studies (Integrated)
Week of 9/11-9/15
We will finish up the ancient Mesoamerican civilizations of the Olmec, Aztecs, Inca, and Maya and begin to move north into the lands that will later become the United States of America. We will begin a Native American project that will produce a report and a 3D visual presentation. You will get more details on the project on Tuesday.
We have our first ADI on Friday as we head to the Denver Art Museum. Remember to bring a sack lunch and dress appropriately for eating outside. NO BOOKBAGS ALLOWED ON THE TRIP! This comes directly from the Denver Art Museum, so please plan to only take your lunch bag.
We still need parent volunteers to help on Friday! Please email me at wes.morrow@bvsd.org if you are interested and available. You must have completed the volunteer process.
